Why a Co-op at SCPNS?
You want a preschool where your child learns through play—and you feel truly part of the village. But many options only invite you to drop off — then drop out.
At SCPNS, it’s different. We’re a parent-participation preschool because we believe children learn best when families learn too.
Being part of our co-op doesn’t just help run the school—it helps you:
-
Feel connected — you’re more than a parent volunteer and doing tasks; you’re a core part of community.
-
See your child grow — firsthand—through their confidence, independence, and creativity.
-
Learn alongside your child — with teachers as guides, not lecturers.
-
Strengthen family bonds — within your home and across our school.
From working in the classroom to contributing to community events, the co-op model makes SCPNS a place where everyone—kids and grownups—learn, belong, and thrive.

We’re happy to talk through what might work best for your situation.
