Every year, Giving Tuesday invites people around the world to pause, reflect, and support the communities that lift them up. For us at SCPNS, this day is a beautiful reminder of what makes our little cooperative preschool so special: we are a community built by families, for families.
When we come together — whether it’s in the classroom, at a work party, or through a fundraiser — we model generosity, teamwork, and care for our children. It’s one of the most powerful lessons they learn here.
As we wrap up the year, we have several ways families and friends can support SCPNS on Giving Tuesday and throughout the holiday season. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps keep our classrooms joyful, safe, and full of hands-on learning opportunities.
Charleston Wrap: Gifts That Give Back (Final Day: December 8!)
Our Charleston Wrap fundraiser is a fun way to support SCPNS while checking off your holiday shopping list. Families can browse high-quality wrapping paper, home goods, kitchen items, and more — and a portion of each purchase goes right back into our classrooms.
The final day to order is December 8, so there’s still time to stock up on gifts (or everyone’s favorite wrapping paper!) while supporting SCPNS.
The SCPNS “Unfundraiser”: Simple Giving for a Big Impact
We know this season can feel full — full schedules, full to-do lists, full calendars. That’s why our Unfundraiser is intentionally simple.
No selling. No events. No extra commitments.
Just an easy way to give directly to the school we all love.
Get Ahead of End-of-Year Giving
For families planning their end-of-year charitable contributions, this is a wonderful time to support SCPNS. Direct donations to our Unfundraiser help us:
Refresh and maintain our play-based learning materials
Support our incredible teachers with professional development
Make needed updates to our indoor and outdoor spaces
Provide scholarships so more families can access our co-op community
SCPNS is a nonprofit organization, so contributions may be tax-deductible. (Of course, we always encourage families to consult their tax professional with any specific questions.)

Clear the List: Support Our Classrooms Through Amazon & Target Registries
This year, we’re excited to add another way for our community to give: Clear the List for our classrooms.
We’ve created registries filled with items our teachers have thoughtfully selected — everything from sensory tools and art supplies to outdoor play materials and favorite board books. These items support curiosity, cooperation, and creativity every single day. Families can choose an item (big or small!) and ship it directly to SCPNS. It’s a sweet, tangible way to brighten our classrooms and fuel the joy of learning.
